14 passengers on Milan flight with COVID-19 patient can't be identified
Moldovan authorities couldn't identify the whereabouts of 14 passengers departing from Milan, Italy together with the Moldovan woman infected with coronavirus.
Viorica Dumbrăveanu, the health minister, stated today in a press conference that these people couldn't be found because they used wrong data to fill in the epidemiological records.
There were 136 people including crew members, four citizens from Transnistria and 10 Ukrainians were in the plane that carried the first coronavirus case to Moldova.
Dumbrăveanu said that the ministry also monitors the situation of the four citizens on the left bank of the Dniester. During the day, the samples will be taken and presented to ANSP.
Forty-four people in the group with the highest risk of getting infection were informed to self-quarantine at home.
"I want to call all citizens to complete the epidemiological records at the entrance to the country properly to indicate right data because it's about the public health and the risk to other people", the minister stressed.
Viorica Dumbrăveanu mentioned that 10 thousand epidemiological records were completed in one week.
