Chisinau extracurricular educational institutions will organize 2020 Day summer camps online during March-June due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

The urban center of young naturalists is the only day camp in Chisinau which focuses on ecological education. 140 children between the ages of 5 and 16 have registered for the camps so far. 

They will participate in various activities daily. The program will start at 10:00 and each child can benefit from three workshops a day.

"It's a different kind of camp. Our camps focus on distance activities. However, they are still very dynamic, emotional, cognitive and include many fun activities", said the camp director Cezara Cornienco.

The virtual lessons will take place in the garden of the institution, arranged with flowers, fruit trees and decorations. For the first time, the camp also offers a workshop on fish care, as the center has a laboratory with about 45 species of fish.

The participants also learn how to take care of pets or birds. 

"We will set up zoology laboratories. Here's our collection of parrots. We will talk about how to care for the parrot properly", added Cezara Cornienco.
