The Central Election Commission has registered Inna Popenco designated by the Social-Political Movement "Ravnopravie" in the presidential race.

Central Electoral Commission also has registered the electoral symbol, confirmed the voting advisory and person in charge of finance.

Also today, the CEC has established on October 30, 2016 the conducting of the referendum on revocation of Ionila Lozovan as mayor of the Pitusca village, Calarasi district.

It has decided to fix the date of the referendum simultaneously with the presidential elections in order to optimize costs for the organization and conduct of these elections.
