Good news for parents! From now on, your pediatrician may prescribe compensated drugs. Patients will no longer have to go to the doctor to receive the list of drugs.

The government approved a series of amendments to this effect on compensation mode of medicines.

The value of these preparations will be calculated based on retail prices submitted by the Medicines Agency.

Last week, the Health Ministry announced the expansion of subsidized drugs list with 65 titles.

Authorities also decided that children up to 18 years will benefit from the preparations.

So far, these were released only to minor up to 5 years.
