Romanian resident arrested for attempt of bribery of border guards

An employee of the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova refused to accept bribe from a Romanian driver who tried to cross the state border, avoiding car control.
The incident occurred at Costesti-Stanca border crossing point. The 37-year-old woman tried to slip 400 lei through documents.
According to border guards, the money was intended to encourage the quick crossing of border crossing point with no checks.
I found guilty, the woman risks punishment by imprisonment of up to years and a fine of 2000-4000 conventional units.
The competent bodies will establish all the circumstances and the legal measures of the incident.
