Police detains suspect in case of murdered woman found on Chisinau-Cimislia road
The police detained a man suspected of murdering the woman from Razeni village, Ialoveni district. He is the victim's lover.
The man partially admitted his guilt and said that he did it because from jealousy. The information was offered by the head of Ialoveni Police Inspectorate, Pavel Damaschin.
The 20-year-old woman was cohabitating with the suspect and they have a 3-year-old boy. The villagers from Razeni say that in the last period the relationship between the two got worse, and the man was jealous.
The policemen detained the suspect for 72 hours and are awaiting for the results of the legal expertise in order to establish the exact cause of death.
"Partially, he is admitting his guilt, now are carried out all necessary actions in order to establish for sure and to gather all evidence to prove the guilt of this man" mentioned Pavel Damaschin, head of Ialoveni Police Inspectorate.
The victim disappeared on Saturday evening. At 21:00 she got off work, but she didn't reach home. The relatives looked for her the entire night and called her several times, but her cellphone was turned off.
On Sunday, the woman's body was found in a ditch in the locality. On her body were found signs of violent death.
At the same time, the family members say that the victim's purse and cellphone weren't found at the scene.
"The only person dear to me, they took even her. When I needed her, she was always helping me. We didn't have misunderstandings" said the victim's sister.
If the man will be found guilty, he might receive up to 15 years in jail.
