The Customs officers from the Chișinău International Airport have lifted 8,000 cigarettes hidden in the baggage of a Briton.

The man, aged 42, was to take the Chisinau-London flight.

Scanning the baggage the officers grew suspicious, only to be helped out by the anti-tobacco dog Mark, who confirmed their fears.

The Briton is to pay a fine of $150.
