Specialized services of Customs officers in cooperation with prosecutors have detained a criminal group specialized in smuggling of drugs in large proportions, brought into the country through parcels.

The investigation of this case lasted three months, being initiated from the detection of 309 ecstasy pills in a parcel on the way to the Netherlands.

The suspect was detained on charges of smuggling and illegal circulation of narcotics for the purpose of trade.

If guilty, he risks imprisonment for a term up to 15 years.
