Searches have been conducted at the homes of a group of people in Lipcani suspected of illegal transportation of alcohol across the state border of Moldova to Ukraine.

Following checks, border guards have found alcohol and money.

In one of the farms raided, border guards have seized 18 liters of alcohol ethyl, 5 liters of vodka, 95,000 lei and 420 euros.

Currently, employees of the Border Police are investigating to establish the entire criminal group following that, legal measures to be taken.
