Parliament President Andrian Candu attended a ceremony dedicated to the 40^th anniversary since the formation of Ialoveni district, which is near Chisinau.

”I am overwhelmed with emotions, also because it’s the native district of my father, who was born in the village of Văsieni, Ialoveni,” he said.

Andrian Candu has spoken about the renamed places in Ialoveni as the wine cellars from Mileștii-Mici, the tulip plantations from Bardar, the folklore from Valea Botnei, the handicraftsmen from Văsieni and Ialoveni.

”You’re among few district with economic and demographic growth, and that’s because of the talented and industrious people from the district.”

The district authorities have signed a cooperation accord between Ialoveni and the Romanian country of Ilfov, as many locals have got diplomas and gifts.
