Government to offer fewer university scholarships

The Moldovan Labor Ministry plans to make available fewer scholarships in universities for this year. The high school graduates will compete for 4,740 places.
That means the number is smaller with 1,190 than in 2016. The scholarships are offered 158 professions.
Over 1,370 of them are offered to future teachers. But it’s with 255 positions less year over year.
The state offers 779 places to future engineers and 425 to future doctors and pharmacists.
110 scholarships will be offered to study Law, but half of them are made available in the schools subordinated to the Interior Ministry.
