Pavel Filip on child abuse: Dismissal isn't solving the problem, TOUGHER sanctions are needed
Dismissal from office isn't solving the problem of kids being abused in kindergartens and schools in the country. The statement was made by the Prime Minister Pavel Filip at today's Government meeting referring to the case of abusive behavior on children.
"I went trough the investigation, but I ask the Ministry of Education and Health to get involved in combating any form of abuse on children in kindergartens and schools. The approach must be more complex" , said Pavel Filip.
Prime Minister also asked for checks in educational institutions and proposals until July 5th at the meeting of the National Council for the Protection of Child's Rights.
"I don't want more cases like this in the media. I want well-thought measures" , said the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.
