The Cathedral Sfinții Arhangheli Mihail and Gavriil of Cahul was visited by thief last night.

According to a priest, 160,000 lei was stolen from the church's vault.

The money was intended for the construction of a toilet in the courtyard as well as for paying the clergy's wages.

The theft was discovered this morning by a church servant.

The identity of robber is investigated at the moment.
