Hundreds of counterfeit alcohol bottles were caught following police searches in a 66-year-old woman's house in Bălţi.

In total, police picked up about 250 bottles of wines.

The owner of the house was unable to present documents proving the provenance of the beverages.

The woman risks a fine of up to three thousand lei.
