A new case of hepatitis A in Cahul. A 19-year-old girl was hospitalized earlier this month, and laboratory tests confirmed the presence of the virus. The girl is from Cimislia, but she was infected after her visit to some relatives in Tartaul de Salcie village.
Currently, she is at the Cahul District Hospital and is being treated.
In mid-March, nine people, including seven minors, arrived at the Cahul hospital with hepatitis A. All of them are inhabitants of the Tartaul de Salcie village.
The patients followed the necessary treatment and were discharged.
As a result of these cases, quarantine was instituted in the kindergarten, but also in the local gymnasium.
