May 9. Traffic in Capital will be restricted

Due to the events that will take place in the Capital, dedicated to Europe Day and Victory Day, traffic will be restricted. Drivers will be forbidden from driving on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt boulevard, between Mitropolit Bănulescu-Bodoni street and Pușkin street.
Public transport will also be running on adjacent streets. Traffic will also be temporary suspended on the streets leading to Eternitate Memorial Complex, where several events will take place to mark the fallen heroes of the Second World War.
According to data offered by InfoTrafic Service on May 9, traffic will be restricted in the Capital in the following way:
- To May 10, 06:00 local time, traffic will be suspended on Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt boulevard, between Mitropolit Bănulescu-Bodoni street and Pușkin street
- Starting 10:00 local time, multiple rallies will take place on Ștefan cel Mare intersection with M.Bănulescu Bodoni, on M.Bănulescu Bodoni street – A.Mateevici street – V.Alecsandri street – Hîncești highway – Pan Halippa street – Eternitate Memorial Complex;
- Between 13:00 - 13:45 local time, a motorcycle rally will take place on: City Gates - Dacia boulevard – Ciuflea street – Ștefan cel Mare boulevard – Ismail street – Pan Halippa street – intersection with GAUDIAMUS roundabout – Pan Halipa street – Eternitate Memorial Complex;
- Starting 11:00 local time, cars will march toward sectors from Chisinau:
- Toward Buiucani sector: Stefan cel Mare – I.Creangă street;
- Toward Centru (Telecentru) sector: Stefan cel Mare – M.Bănulescu Bodoni street – A.Mateevici street – Hâncești highway;
- Toward Botanica sector: Ștefan cel Mare – M.Bănulescu Bodoni street – 31 August 1989 street – A.Pușkin street – Ștefan cel Mare boulevard – str.Ciuflea street – Dacia boulevard;
- Toward Râșcani sector: Ștefan cel Mare – M.Bănulescu Bodoni street – 31 August 1989 street – A.Pușkin street – Ștefan cel Mare boulevard – C.Negruzzi street – Albișoara street – Gr.Vieru boulevard – Renașterii Naționale boulevard – Moscova boulevard;
- Toward Ciocana sector: Ștefan cel Mare – M.Bănulescu Bodoni street – 31 August 1989 street – A.Pușkin street – Stefan cel Mare boulevard – C.Negruzzi street – Albișoara street – Gr.Vieru boulevard – Renașterii Naționale boulevard – A.Russo street.
Drivers passing through the zone are urged to respected the temporary traffic signs.
