Special Program prepared by PDM for May 9
On May 9, Republic of Moldova will be celebrating Victory Day and Europe Day. The events will begin by flowers being laid. In the Capital, the celebration will begin at 10:00 local time in the City's downtown, where Democratic Party of Moldova will organize events.
Therefore, in front of the Nativity Cathedral will be arranged a feast, where war veterans will be invited to eat some porridge.
An exposition will also be inaugurated with photographs dedicated to the second world war. Guests will listen to the military fanfare and will be able to enjoy a show with K9.
Children will also have the chance to compete in painting on the asphalt. A special program, filled with surprises will also take place in the Great National Assembly Square starting 17:00 local time, where a concert will be held.
The stage will be taken by Plai Moldovenesc and Fraţilor Advahov orchestras, Amelia and Valentin Uzun, while people will be able to dance hora. Citizens who love classic music will also have the chance to listen to the great Eugen Doga.
The evening will end with a grand concert organized by Democratic Party, where multiple international singers will perform.
