PM Pavel Filip with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Monica Babuc and Foreign Affairs Ministry, Tudor Ulianovschi went to Iasi today to take part at the ceremony dedicated to Pope Francis's visit. At the event, PM greeted the Pope.

'I'm honored to be among the pilgrims that came to Iasi to greet His Sanctity Pope Francis. Regardless the bad weather, Culture Palace Plaza is full for the dozen of thousands of people wishing to see the Sacred Father. It's an historic visit and Pontiff Souvereign's message to promote the European and Christian unity has it's importance. We are grateful for the social and humanitarian of the Romano-Catholic Church in the Republic of Moldova.
