The National Agency for Public Health announces a new case of measles. It's about an eight-year-old child who recently returned from Romania. The child is not vaccinated against measles. The case is under investigation.

This is the second case of measles, registered since the beginning of 2020, in Chisinau. Recently a teacher was diagnosed with measles, after coming home from a vacation in Ukraine.

Moldova registered 90 cases of measles in 2019 and 340 cases in 2018.
