The only laboratory in Moldova capable of testing for covid-19 is managed by the National Public Health Agency, Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu announced. 

The authorities assure that there are enough coronavirus test kits in Moldova and another package of WHO test kits will soon reach the country.

"Be cautious with the tests you will take because the only laboratory capable of testing or COVID-19 is accredited by the WHO, managed by the National Public Health Agency. I'm sorry that there are some businessmen who capitalize on the current situation", the health minister said. 

She also spoke about the protective measures against COVID-19. Authorities continue to urge people to avoid crowded places, to wash hands often and to keep distance with each other.

The Central Market of the Capital will remain open.
