Commission for Exceptional Situations's key decisions over lockdown and coronavirus aid
Soroca and Glodeni city will reopen from May 8 and May 11 respectively.
Patent holders will benefit from a one-off unemployment aid amounting to 2,775 lei. These are some of the latest decisions of the Commission for Exceptional Situations.
According to Prime Minister Ion Chicu, recently the number of COVID-19 diseases in Soroca has decreased. The last case was on April 24, and the outbreak in Glodeni was located.
The next localities where the lockdown could be lifted are the town of Ștefan Vodă and the village of Talmaza.
"We examined the situation in the other localities as well. In total we have eight localities under quarantine. The next localities will probably be the town of Ștefan-Vodă and the village of Talmaza, but we have to follow for a few more days what the evolution is in these regions," declared Ion Chicu.
Another decision concerns the patent holders, who will receive unemployment aid in the amount of 2,775 lei. In this regard, 34 million lei will be allocated from the state budget.
"The money will be paid to the patent holders without submitting the respective applications to the offices of the Employment Agency. They will receive the respective money on the account. This period of allocation of the money will last until June 30," the prime minister said. Minister.
The Commission for Exceptional Situations has also decided to extend the validity of the technical inspection reports for buses, which expired after 12 March, until 15 June.
