A 63-year-old Moldovan has died in Madrid after contracting coronavirus. The information was confirmed for Publika TV by the Moldovan Foreign Affairs Ministry. 

He also had other pre-existing medical conditions. 

His relatives are discussing with the Moldovan Embassy in Madrid the possibility of repatriating his body to Moldova. This procedure seems difficult to achieve as several European countries are shutting their borders. 

Last Thursday, a 65-year-old Moldovan died in the Italian city of Parma because of the new coronavirus.
