The access roads to the localities on the left bank of the Dniester could be unblocked. The president of the country, Igor Dodon, and the separatist leader from Tiraspol, Vadim Krasnoselskii, discussed this on the phone on Wednesday.
Representatives on both banks of the Dniester are looking for solutions to help people who are forced to cross the river only with the floating ferry. The inhabitants of the villages of Cocieri, Vasilievca, Molovata Nouă, Roghi from Dubasari district and Copanca village from Causeni district are in a difficult situation.
This is after, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the so-called Tiraspol authorities imposed traffic restrictions.
Igor Dodon also discussed with Vadim Krasnoselskii about the negotiation process between Chisinau and Tiraspol, meant to strengthen the confidence of the people on both banks of the Dniester.
