In order to avoid congestion on the second day of the presidential election, polling stations have been changed in some European cities. The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Aureliu Ciocoi. 

"The locations of some polling stations for the second round have been changed in Frankfurt, Munich, Milan, Parma, Verona, Bologna, London, Tel Aviv", said Aureliu Ciocoi.

"In some polling stations, changes were made to their composition, because our citizens from the diaspora refused to be part of the respective polling stations for the second round", added Minister Aureliu Ciocoi. 

For the second round of voting, 139 polling stations were reconfirmed abroad. Of which two polling stations will have a special regime for the second round of the presidential election. This is the Baku section, which due to the state of emergency implemented in Azerbaijan as a result of the armed conflict in the Karabakh Mountain region, will be open until 18:00. In Strasbourg, the polling station will be active until 20:00, due to the epidemiological situation in the city.

The chairman of the Central Electoral Commission, Dorin Cimil, announced that the second round will take place under the same conditions as in round one, but during this period certain actions were carried out to improve the voting process. At the same time, the CEC president urged the diaspora to choose the nearest polling station, so as not to admit congestion.
