Primary class students from the Universul Theoretical High School in Chisinau had an extraordinary lesson today. Their professor was Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu.

The official spoke to children about the importance of knowing and observing traffic rules. The lesson ended with gifts from the Chief of the Legislature.

In front of the cameras, students say they know how to cross the street correctly.

"We watch out on two sides left and right and then we cross if there are no cars."

After that, the spokesman handed out gifts to the students.

The high school administration appreciated these good lessons as the institution is located near the street full of traffic flux. 

"We have made some changes in the institution but there are still some dangerous places, the cars are passing so fast", said Anastasia Rusu, deputy director of the Universul Theoretical High School.

There have been 90 road accidents involving children this year, killing two minors, having other 130 hospitalized.
