An unusual phenomenon took place in multiple districts from Republic of Moldova. People got scared when they noticed that the falling snow was not completely white, but had orange tints.
People from Cahul and Cantemir were scared to get out of their houses.
Meteorologists claim that the color was caused by a cyclone in North Africa that manifests over the Mediterranean Sea. It spread dust from Sahara, bringing it into Turkey and the Northern region of the Black Sea.
While the phenomenon is rare, it can be sometimes be met in the Alps, Western and Central Europe.
