ANSP rejects accusations leveled by MP Alexandru Slusari over falsification of COVID-19 test result
The repeated test of the employee of the DA Platform faction is negative, and the result of the first test has not officially reached the person concerned, Alexandru Slusari announced on his Facebook.
According to him, the results of the repeated test were sent this morning to the secretariat of the Parliament. Slusari accused the current government of using the medical system in order to block the activity of the Parliament and maintain the current governmental majority.
"It is outrageous! We publicly ask the Ministry of Health to start the investigation on this case. Once again we draw attention to the fact that the test was taken in the ANSP laboratory in violation of the order of the Ministry of Health.
The suspicions of our faction that the medical system is being used to block the work of the Parliament has been unfortunately confirmed. We call on all Members to be aware that they are being manipulated by Igor Dodon, who is trying at all costs to keep the majority weak and his government docile. Even at the cost of losing the EU aid, "Slusari wrote.
Publika recalls that the Parliament announced through a press release that an employee from the cabinet of the PPDA Party's parliamentary faction contracted COVID-19. This was the fifth infection case in Parliament: two MPs and three employees of the Legislature.
In this context, the National Agency for Public Health rejected the accusations of the deputy Alexandru Slusari, as unfounded and qualified his statements as a political PR.
"The insistence of some public figures to launch unjustified accusations against the public health system, to take advantage of the current situation regarding COVID-19 infection only to do PR.
It misleads the public opinion, it only confuses the population and the specialists who make colossal efforts in the fight against this pandemic and ensures the functionality of the institutions involved ", according to the ANSP statement.
