China has offered Moldova a batch of humanitarian aid that includes medical masks and protective equipment for medical workers combating against the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Present at the event, Moldova's Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu thanked the Chinese people for all the support offered to the medical system in Moldova since the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic.

The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Moldova E.S. Zhang Yinghong reiterated China's openness to continue to support our country in controlling COVID-19 infection.

The donation consists of 100,000 KN95 masks, 100,000 disposable medical masks and 5,000 sets of personal protective suits, which will be distributed to public health institutions in the country.
