Bar owners sanctioned for allowing smoking in public places

Eight bar owners have been penalized for allowing customers to smoke in public places. The total amount of fines collected is 57 thousand lei.
Specialists of the Center for Public Health in the Capital have made several unannounced inspections in the last two weeks, while informing citizens.
Starting May 31st, the anti-smoking law came into force. More than 200 managers have received fines amounting of nearly 800 thousand lei. Also, over 1,300 individuals have been sanctioned for smoking in prohibited places.
