Disabled people from Transnistria will have quality social assistance. Moreover, specialists from Tiraspol visited Criuleni for an experience exchange.

"We offer social assistance services, but cannot manage all the requests. Here, in Criuleni, this service is more developed" social assistant, Natalia Cîrcîs said.

Victoria Secu is the director of an association that takes care of disabled people for the past 18 years. The woman claims that throughout the years they gained much experience and are ready to share it with their colleagues from Tiraspol.

"We are located near one another, but there is a big difference in the services offered for disable people" Victoria Secu said.

The "Woman and Child - Help and Support" Association from Criuleni also has a team that accepts house calls from disabled people. The Association received European funding to transfer their experience to Transnistria.

"Once per two days we visit them to cook, clean and pay the bills" social worker Aliona Puşca said.

The team is financed by Criuleni Regional Council.

"We financially support any project that aims to improve the lives of disabled people, or those in crisis situations" president of Criuleni district, Veaceslav Burlac said.

In Criuleni live around 3 200 disabled people who receive social assistance.
