We urged you to support our frontline heroes in the coronavirus battle. The money collected in the Publika TV Teledon was directed to purchase protective equipment, medicine, to support the medical staff, to disinfect public transports and public places, the Chisinau City Hall has announced. 

The City Hall also thanked the company Paynet, one of the platforms that helped the people make donation. 

In the letter signed by Mayor Ion Ceban, it's stressed that we showed our solidarity by organizing Teledon, and this donation enhanced the chance to tackle this coronavirus pandemic successfully. 

We promised to track every leu that you donated and make sure it reaches the medical staff. The report on the donated money can be checked now on stopcoronavirus.chisinau.md.

Over five thousand people and companies offered over half a million lei in the Teledon show on Publika TV organized on April 12. 

There were artists, economic agents, political parties, non-government organizations and ordinary citizens with a big heart who joined the donation campaign.
