Children's food in kindergartens and school, in MPs attention

The special commission established by Parliament to evaluate the food of children in kindergartens and schools, meets today, January 17th in the first meeting. MPs are to come up with proposals for the legislation in this area, to examine the irregularities and improve the process of selecting companies that supply food establishments.
The special committee was created by the legislature in December 2016 after the scandal concerning the delivery of food in schools and kindergartens and will have three months to report.
In this case, 17 people were detained, including ten employees of the Education sector in Capital.
The case is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
