Chiril Gaburici: Hungarian Companies that invest in Republic of Moldova are supported
"Hungarian Companies that invest in Republic of Moldova are supported and can benefit from opportunities offered by free economic zones" Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici declared during a meeting with Ambassador of Hungary to the Republic of Moldova, Sándor Szabó.
The officials analyzed the successfully implemented reforms of Republic of Moldova's Government to develop the business environment, as well as facilities offered at the free economic zones. The parties have also expressed their intentions to intensify Moldova - Hungary trade relations.
Minister of Economy and Infrastructure noted that during January - February 2018, export to Hungary registered over one million USD, representing a 49% growth compared to a similar time from 2016, while imports were worth around 18 million USD, or by 43% more.
Ambasadorul Sándor Szabó appreciated the Government's reforms and actions taken to develop the country's economy and business environment. The official also mentioned that Hungary is open for multilateral collaboration and is ready to share its experience to further develop the business environment, energy efficiency, road infrastructure, tourism, as well as promote local products on Hungarian and European markets.
Speaking of possible economic collaboration, as well as the agreement signed by Moldova and Hungary on promoting and protecting mutual investments, Minister Chiril Gaburici invited Hungarian companies to invest in prioritized sectors of Moldova, as well as launch joint projects to develop small and medium-sized enterprises, promote tourism.
In Republic of Moldova are registered 55 Hungarian Companies, worth 74.33 million lei. The amount of trade between Moldova and Hungary registered over 2017 109.56 million USD, by 22.6% more than in 2016.
