Moldova detected one new case of coronavirus infection in a man who returned from Italy, bringing the total number of infection cases confirmed in Moldova so far to 30. 

Nine patients are between 60-69 years old. Five patients are between 50-59 years old and four patients are between 40-49 years old. 

Three patients aged 0-19 tested positive for COVID-19. Eight patients are between 20-39. 

They returned from Italy, France, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. 

The 14 locally infected patients are from Soroca, Hânceşti and Chisinau districts.

A 60-year-old woman who was hospitalized on March 8 was treated and allowed to go home. 

Parliament adopted a decision to declare a state of emergency in Moldova for 60 days, as from March 17, at the suggestion of the Government, given the epidemiological situation generated by COVID-19.
