Customs Service collected revenues of millions lei to state budget during a week
Last week Customs Service collected the revenues of 411.7 million lei to the sate budget, with a total of 11 172 customs declarations.
According to the service, 91 attempts were registered for violation of the customs legislation, which are investigated by the specialists to determine all circumstances and to undertake the legal measures.
Also in the same period, 53 cases of contravention were recorded and fines were imposed in the amount of 163 741 lei.
In addition, the flow of transport units constituted 90 863 crossings. The highest traffic values were reported at the Moldovan-Romanian border, while the most transited customs posts remain Leuşeni and Sculeni, with 17 385 and 14 200 crossings respectively.
Moreover, between October 26 - November 4, the rehabilitation works of road infrastructure in the territory of Sculeni customs office in Romania is being carried out.
Therefore, in order to avoid crowded lorries at the mentioned crossing points, the service recommends freight carriers opt for other nearby customs posts.
