Customs Service: Over ONE BILLION LEI collected in state budget in January, 2017

Customs Service has registered over one billion lei in the state budget in January, 2017, with more than 340 million lei or 41 percent compared to the same period last year.
Over 96 million lei of total amount was accumulated from the custom's clearance of certain categories of cars.
According to Customs Service,the higher revenues are registered due to business efficiency policy of the institution and the justified efforts on increasing salaries.
About 65 percent of contributions to the state budget are collected by the Customs Service.
