The victims of domestic violence will be more protected. The deputies have voted today in the final lecture a draft law in this regard. The persons suspected for the acts of violence will receive immediately an emergency order of restriction, which will prohibit the aggressors to get close to the family.
It might be issued for at most 10 days. According to the document, the victims of domestic violence, including children, will benefit from free psychological support and might request material compensation from the aggressor.
Since the beginning of 2016, approximately 500 persons have gone to the police to ask for protection. According to specialists, the violence is generated mostly by the excessive drinking, conflicts and lack of education.
