The driver who hit and killed a child in Truşeni commune was arrested for 72 hours.  If found guilty, he risks to spend the next 7 years behind bars, with up to 4 years of driving prohibition.

Publika reminds that yesterday, a 3-year-old boy passed away after he was hit by a car while crossing the street.

Eyewitnesses claim that the child was together with his grandmother, who took her eyes off him for a moment.

Since the beginning of the year, 18 car accidents took place involving minors, resulting in one deceased child, while another 18 were injured.
