An intoxicated man opened fire in the direction of the windows of an apartment in Chisinau and now faces 10 years of jail.

Neighbors alerted the police, who detained the man.

Police spokesman Adrian Jovmir says the inebriated man could produce no document for the 9-milimetre gun.

He is now investigated for hooliganism.
