More hundred cases of Moldovans hospitalized for alcoholic intoxication recorded in 2018 compared with the previous year. Every tenth patient is a child or adolescent.

In 2018, 451 cases were registered, 100 cases more than in 2017, says data of National Agency for Public Health (CAPH). Most cases were recorded in Chisinau.

52 children and adolescents aged less than 17 came to hospital for alcoholic intoxication. 

Moreover, CAPH states that of the total victims, 108 were women.

Most persons - 260- are from Chisinau. 20 cases in Floreşti, 18 cases in Falesti and 13 cases in Rascani.
