European committee of World Tourism Organization to hold its works in Moldova
The Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Taleb Rfai, comes to Chişinău to attend the reunion of the Committee for Europe.
Today, Taleb Rfai and the EU ambassador to Moldova, Pirkka Tapiola, and the General Director of the Moldovan Tourism Agency will plant trees in Chisinau’s downtown, in the so-called Cathedral Square.
Tomorrow, Taleb Rfai will meet representatives of tourism authorities from Europe.
On June 7, the will pay a visit to the cultural-natural reservation Orheiul Vechi.
The reunion of the Tourims Committee is meant to speed up the communication among European states the development of tourism.
Tourism has becoming more and more popular in this country. Both Moldovan and foreign tourists choose to spend holidays in agro-resorts in the country.
Most tourists come from Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Italy.
