On January 20-21, 2020, the officials of the Council of Europe (CoE), members of the ad-hoc Working Group on Justice Reform will be visiting Chisinau.

Within the discussions will be addressed the efforts to consolidate the justice sector in the Republic of Moldova, including through the project of the Strategy for ensuring the independence and integrity of the justice sector for the years 2020-2023, the draft Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy and the project proposal for the evaluation of judges. 

The agenda of the delegation includes meetings with the Prime Minister, the President of the Parliament, the representatives of the Legal Commission, appointments and immunities, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Prosecutor General, the Superior Council of Magistracy, the Superior Council of Prosecutors, the Director of the National Institute of Justice, representatives of the civil society and the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Moldova.
