A man was detained by border police for forgery at the "Sculeni" crossing point. The case was reported on the evening of August 2.

The 35-year-old - the second driver on the regular Chisinau-Paris route deliberately used a Romanian green card with obvious signs of falsification.

His behavior was suspicious which led to require of police for presenting any other documents. As a result, he showed an green card issued by the Romanian authorities on his name, with obvious signs of falsification, found in his personal wallet.

The ID card was retained and transferred to the expertise.

The Moldovan citizen was allowed to cross the state border.
