Family physicians will be able to open individual cabinets to practice. The Parliament voted in today's plenary session a bill to amend some legislative acts in this regard.

The new regulations stipulate that the family doctor may only be the founder of an individual cabinet or a center of family doctors. The individual family doctor's office will be active in the legal relationship as a natural person. The name of the family doctor's individual cabinet will include his or her first and last name. The Family Doctors' Center may have its own name.
 
Both the individual cabinet and the center of family doctors will have accounts in the bank and will be entitled to stamp. At the same time, they will be subject to accreditation in health care and will operate in public medical or sanitary facilities or other premises, made available by the local and central public administration authorities, or in private or hosted premises.
 
The individual cabinet of the family doctor and the family doctor's center will obtain financial means from the contracts concluded with the National Health Insurance Company for the provision of primary health care and other payments permitted by the legislation.
 
The legislative initiative was voted in final reading by 61 deputies present at the meeting.
