February 24 parliamentary elections: PDM candidates championed in Nisporeni
PSRM candidates were largely voted by Gagauzia people on the February 24 elections. 83 percent of voters in this region and Taraclia district elected PSRM candidates.
50 percent of voters in localities in the left of Nistru and 45 percent of voters in Briceni chose Socialists.
Over 72 percent of voters in Nisporeni, hometown of PDM leader, Vlad Plahotniuc, elected PDM candidates.
Soldanesti, Straseni - hometown of PDM deputy chairman, Pavel Filip ranked second and third regarding votes for PDM candidates. Under 40 percent of voters from Floreşti and Hincesti elected this party.
ACUM bloc was supported by suburbs of Chisinau, Ciocana sector and Criuleni district.
On national list, PAS-DA bloc gained between 40-43 percent of votes. In Falesti - hometown of Maia Sandu, its votes were overtaken by PSRM and PDM.
Sor party, for the first time to enter Parliament, obtained the largest votes in Orhei, over 55 percent of voters.
The February 24th parliamentary elections was organized for the first time based on mixed electoral system. Accordingly, 50 deputies were elected on party lists and 51 on uninominal constituencies.
