Farmers from Dubăsari district, who previously could not work on their lands, have received today certificates granting them access to the agricultural lands located over Râbniţa – Tiraspol highway.

Those certificates allow farmers to use 400 hectares, from the total 6 300 hectares of land, placed in Transnistria. In the near future, similar documents will be issued for the rest of the lands.

Owners stopped being able to access them in 2014, but after negotiations held between Chisinau and Tiraspol the right was restored for the next 20 years, starting August 1, 2018.

The agricultural lands located over Rîbnița-Tiraspol highway, are owed by over 5 500 people from Cocieri, Coșnița, Doroțcaia, Molovata Nouă and Pârâta.
