Good news for Moldovan winemakers. Five companies to resume export on Russian market
Good news for Moldovan winemakers. Five companies in our country have obtained the right to resume exports to the Russian market. Two other producers will increase their product range. The announcement was published on the official website of Rospotrebnadzor.
Selected wine company managers say that before obtaining export right, Rospotrebnadzor experts did extensive checks on factories.
"They inspected everything related to the equipment and production process, including laboratory, bottling, even wine tasting halls. We are among the five that have passed. I think this will lead to the development of the wine sector" ,said director of MIMI winery, Cristina Frolov.
Some companies have already managed to conclude preliminary contracts with distributors in Russia.
Wineries could begin exports after they receive all certificates of Rospotrebnadzor.
In the beginning of March, a team of experts from Rospotrebnadzor inspection have inspected 13 wineries in the country.
According to the Minister of Agriculture, it has yet been taken a final decision for other companies.
