Weapons and ammunition detected at the state border.

A Romanian citizen who tried to cross the border at the "Sculeni" crossing point carried weapon and ammunition without documents of origin.

This 33-year-old with his transport of Alfa Romeo model crossed the border at around 21.30 yesterday.

In routine checks, border police found out hidden 6mm gas pistol, two chargers, seven ASG compressed air cylinders and a 50-bladed rubber box in the trunk of the car.

However, the driver couldn't present origin acts, confessing of no knowledge about declaration. 

Customs authority is in progress of determining all the circumstances, including the sanctions provided applied to suspect.
