Heart disease among first causes of death of Moldovans

The heart disease continues to be one of the main causes of death among Moldovans. The list is followed by tumors and digestive disorders, according to the data of the National Center for Health Management.
Over half of Moldovan citizens die from circulatory diseases, while over 11 thousand people have died from hypertensive heart disease, and about six thousand have suffered cerebrovascular disease.
About 3,700 people die from digestive diseases, and over 2,700 Moldovans died after injury or poisoning, suicides, traffic accidents and carbon monoxide poisoning.
Another cause of deaths among Moldovans are respiratory diseases.
