A 22-year-old lady from Orhei was hit by a car on the crosswalk. According to law enforcement, the driver fled in place of offering assistance. The accident too place on Tudor Vladimirescu street from Buiucani sector, being caught on a surveillance camera.

The victim has later requested medical assistance, having fractures.

After investigation, the driver was identified, it turning out to be a 42-year-old man, who at the time drove the "Audi".

The driver risks an up to 13 000 lei fine, 180 to 240 hours of unpaid community services, or up to 3 years of imprisonment with possible ban from driving any vehicle for the next 2 years.
